The articles are damn spiffy, especially Lindsey Galloway’s article on gender in gaming.
But I really feel like a monthly ‘zine isn’t the best venue for this type or quantity of content. Why not create a communal blog?

Thanks for the link, MP! And I’m glad you enjoyed it, violet! We went with a magazine format partly to encourage more in-depth writing (which for many people takes a long time to prepare), and partly to make it easier for people to do one-time or very occasional submissions, so that those who don’t have time/energy/inclination to blog could make use of the platform we’re providing. I know that tekanji is very keen on the idea of getting some blogs started up at the theirisnetwork.org space, though, so maybe soon we’ll be providing that flavor of text, too (finding people who want to blog about gaming from a feminist perspective who don’t already have their own fabulous blogs has been taking a while… ;-)).
