WomenGamers.Com announces National Computer Camp scholarship for girls
Too bad I’m a little old for this! Seriously — if you have daughters, nieces, friends, whatever, who happen to be girl gamers between the ages of 8 and 18, let them know about this!
For the June/July 2007 enrollment, WomenGamers.Com and National Computer Camp (NCCamp.com) are offering scholarships valued at $945 to two female students ages 8-18 for one week. Applicants need to submit an essay in response to the following question: What will video games of the future be like and if you were in charge of designing a game, what would it be like?
For my part, I’ll crack a beer and dream about what could have been. ![]()

Definitely report back on that one. It would be so exciting to go to that camp.

I’ve printed the site-page and am going to ask my sis if she’s interested. She’s into gaming, but I don’t know if she’s ever thought about making them, although she really like RPG maker when our brother was borrowing it… won’t know if I don’t ask.
